Eve Rookies is 2 years old! To celebrate, we’re going to host a fun event with our partners!

EBWF: EBWF is the ticker for FUN Inc, the NPSI corporation that Eve Rookies hosts most of our pvp fleets through!

Linknet: Eve LinkNet is the coalition of new player oriented corps that Eve Rookies belongs to. The Nomads are also a partner corp within LinkNet and host the GRIP and Wedge pvp fleets which are specifically aimed at new players!

Why Eve Rookies vs. Nomads?

Kshal Aideron, Scopique and LilWarringCuddles are all FCs within Eve Rookies. Each of us are also FC newbro roams! Scopique and I FC for FUN Inc and LilWarringCuddles FCs for Eve LinkNet.

Since we like shenanigans, we thought it would be lots of fun to pit our respective fleets against each other!

Fleet Doctrine

Corvettes. We’re flying corvettes. Why? Because we can!

Each fleet gets the following:

• DPS: corvettes
• Scout: 1 scout in a travel ceptor with no weapons in the high slots (neuts, salvagers, or fireworks are fine)

Eve Rookies vs. Nomads Event Rules

The following is how this event is going to go down! For the start, we will all gather in fleet-op1 in the FUN Inc Discord.

Step 1: Xing Up

At 19:30 we will start Xing up in the in game channel EBWF Public. Please X with whom you would like to fly with!

X1 = Kshal/Scopique
X2 = LilWarringCuddles

We will do our best to make certain that you get to fly with the FC you want, however, we may need to shuffle people between fleets so we have close to the same numbers!

Step 2: Getting Your Ships

While you’re waiting for the fleet to get set up, get yourself into a corvette! If you can’t fly a Velator for whatever reason, put the weapons on the corvette of your choice.

If you need the isk to cover your ship, ask your FC.

We will also find our respective scout(s) at this time.

Step 3: Fleet 101

We will find out if we have any newbros that need a quick fleet 101. This will not be as in depth as our regular newbro roams, but we will make sure to cover the basics. Once the roam starts, you’re always welcome to ask any questions that pop into your head!

Step 4: Splitting up Comms

Everyone in Kshal/Scopique’s fleet will stay in fleet-op1 and then Cuddles will take her fleet down into fleet-op2.

Step 5: Filament into Null

And this is where we’re going to yeet into null!

Step 6: Figure Out Where the “Middle” Is

Now we’ll take a few minutes of our time to figure out where the “middle” is between our two fleets. Once we agree on the system, we’re going to start making our way there! IF we can kill stuff on the way, we will. However, the more people the FC can keep alive while traveling, the more points they will get!

Step 7: The FFA

Once we reach the middle system we will gather at the sun. Once the FCs say it’s go time, it’ll be a FFA till the last corvette is standing!

The Point Breakdown

• Kills under 24m = 1
• Kills from 25-50m = 2
• Kills over 50m = 3
• Each corvette alive in the middle = 1
• Scout is alive = 3
• Original FC is alive = 3
