You’re on a pvp fleet and you hear the hunter or scout say on comms, “I’ve got point!” But you’ve never found a “point module.” Why? Why do we say, “pointed!”
Point is Actually Warp Disrupt

There isn’t a point module in Eve Online. When someone says they have something “pointed” it means they have locked a ship up and have successfully executed the warp disrupt module.
WHY is it Called POINT?!
I asked this same question to a vet who’s been playing for quite a long time. I mean, I know what it does, I know why we use it and why it’s important but WHY? Was it called point in the past and got renamed to Warp Disrupt? Nope.

And that’s it folks. The Warp Disrupter has one single POINT of scram strength while a warp scram module has 2. Now you can go off and be confident enough to declare “point” when you get warp disrupt on a pvp target!
