On the 30th of November Eve Rookies hit a major mile stone! 2,000 members on our Discord. And no, it’s not 2,000 members who remain silent. We have loads of players showing up in our public fleets, chattering in channels and even joining voice chat to play together.

As CEO of Eve Rookies, I know I say this every milestone, but this community keeps amazing me. Thank you to each and every one of you who has made this possible!

Eve Rookies Give Away and Raffle

To celebrate our 2,000 member status, I’m hosting a HUGE give away and raffle! The Give Away is public and anyone can play along, regardless of how much time they’ve spent on the server. The raffle, however, will be for anyone who has flown in an Eve Rookies fleet. It’s not too late to join a fleet and get a ticket!

Eve Rookies 2,000 Member Public Give Away

Below are the rules for the Eve Rookies public give away. Anyone can enter regardless of who they are or how long they’ve been with us.

1. Each day between now and until the prizes run out, there will be groups of give aways added to the #give-aways channel on the Eve Rookies Discord (except Dec 19 and 20 as I will be out of town and not taking my laptop).
2. Items will be posted each day between 21:00 and 22:00 Eve.
3. Each Give Away will run for 48 hours and the winner will automatically be rolled.
4. Winners DO NOT need to be present. However they DO need to contact me within 24 hours of the end of the Give Away. This can be done in the thread attached to the main message in the Give Away channel.
5. At the end of the 24 hour contact period, the item will be re-rolled and a new winner announced.

TL;dr give aways will be added to the Give Away channel between 21:00 and 22:00 Eve and run for 48 hours. Once winners are rolled, they have 24 hours to answer in the thread attached to the Give Away message. If they don’t speak up, the give away will be re-rolled.

Eve Rookies 2,000 Member Fleet Attendance Raffle

This is a special portion of our 2,000 Discord member celebration. As a thank you to all of the individuals who have come out to fly with Eve Rookies, I will be doing a raffle.

Not a lot of pilots outside of my FCs know that we take attendance for our fleets. We started this in our first year (we’re currently just over 2.5 years old) to do some raffles for those who came out to fleets. However, I quickly realized this helps me keep statistics on how many unique individuals we have coming out a month (meaning brand new people). Because of the attendance, we can enter people who have flown with us since DAY 1!

Here are the raffle rules:

1. If you have flown in any Eve Rookies fleet, you’re already entered.
2. Raffle will be ran on the 22nd (time TBA).
3. There will be 40 winners drawn in groups of 10.
4. The first 10 will get to pick what they want off their group prize list. Order of choice will be the order of response.
5. Winners will be Eve Mailed as well as pinged (if their username is the same as their character name)
6. Winners have 24 hours to make their choice.
7. At the end of the 24 hours, I will draw more tickets corresponding with how many prizes are left over.
8. Wash, rinse, repeat until we’re done!

TL;dr If you’ve flown in any Eve Rookies fleet, you might win something. Keep an eye on the #raffle-room and your Eve Mail starting Dec 22nd.
