When Eve Rookies began, our mission was simple. We wanted to provide a welcoming and educational space for new and returning players in New Eden.

We started our journey from a small group of friends running weekly incursion fleets to a full fledged Eve Online public community in March 2021.

Now, 3.5 years later, we’re finally ready to open a corporation to allow our community members to fly under our alliance, Eve Rookies United.

Why Join Eve Rookies Academy?

Eve Rookies has always been open and transparent in everything we do. The one thing I want to make absolutely clear is we’re not out to recruit anyone. There are a lot of fantastic corporations in Eve Online that do loads of different things.

However, if you’ve been running public fleets with us and want to proudly represent the Eve Rookies brand, here’s what you can look forward to:

• Strong Core Values: The Eve Rookies Core Values provides a strong foundation for an inclusive, healthy, thriving community.
• No Strings Attached: At Eve Rookies Academy, we believe in keeping things simple. That’s why we don’t require any authentication or background checks to join. Just bring your enthusiasm and readiness to learn!
• Engage in Daily Activities: With nearly daily public fleets and classes, there’s always something happening. Whether you’re looking to hone your skills, explore new aspects of the game, or simply enjoy some fun and engaging content, you’ll find it here.
• Participate in Weekly Projects: Now that we have a player corporation, we’ll start experimenting with the corporation projects! Join and see what’s on offer!
• Support the Community with a 1% Tax: I know, I know. Normally taxes aren’t exactly a selling point. However, the 1% tax on ISK and LP goes straight back into the community in the form of SRP, Handouts, and the startup of new activities!
• Grow Beyond a Line Member: Eve Rookies Academy isn’t just a place to belong; it’s a place to thrive. If you’re looking for an opportunity to evolve beyond being just a line member, this is the perfect environment. With guidance, support, and ample opportunities to take on leadership roles, you can grow into something more.

How to Join Eve Rookies Academy

If you’ve made it this far, and still want to join Eve Rookies Academy, here’s how to do it:

1. Log in to the character you want to join (alts and alphas are welcome).
2. Go to your contacts in the social menu.
3. Search for Eve Rookies.
4. Expand the corporation option in the results.
5. Double click ‘Eve Rookies Academy’.
6. Click on the ‘Apply to Join’ button.

Please make certain that after you apply, that you have also joined the Eve Rookies Discord and your Discord name matches your character name.

Or, you go to the Eve Rookies United channel and ask for the corporation Discord role. Make sure to mention the character name so we can quickly check if they’ve been accepted already!

That’s it! Once you’re in you can start working on the corp projects! And, of course, if you decide not to join, you’re always welcome on any of our fleets or classes that we ping!
