After signing up for an account and verifying your email, you’ll receive a link to download the Eve Online game client.

Create a Character

When you first launch the Eve Online game client, you’ll need to create a new character. This process will allow you to choose a faction, a school, and customize your character’s appearance.

If this is your first character in Eve Online, don’t worry too much about which faction to choose. While certain skills are only available to characters with an Omega subscription, an alpha character can still train skills from other factions. However, it is important to keep in mind that once you choose a name for your character, you will not be able to change it later on. CCP does not allow players to rename characters on their accounts, so make sure to choose a name that you are happy with.

Start the New Player Experience

Welcome to the AIR Career Program, the new player experience for all characters in Eve Online. This program is designed to help you get settled in the game and start your journey as a capsuleer.

As part of the AIR Career Program, you’ll get to meet Aura, your personal AI guide to New Eden. Aura will introduce you to the NPCs, explain the factions and enemies you’ll encounter in the game, and help you learn how to pilot your ship. Together, you and Aura will work on developing the skills you’ll need to survive the harsh and often dangerous life of a capsuleer in Eve Online. Whether you want to focus on combat, exploration, trade, or any of the other numerous activities available in the game, the AIR Career Program will help you get started on the right foot.

Complete All of the Career Missions

After completing the mining tutorial, you’ll be ready to move on to the next phase of the AIR Career Program. This will involve heading over to a nearby system where the career agents of your chosen school are located. These agents will have a series of story arcs available for you to complete, each of which will introduce you to different aspects of the game and help you develop your skills as a capsuleer.

Regardless of whether the topic of a particular story arc interests you or not, it is important to complete all five of the arcs in order to get the most out of the AIR Career Program. Not only will you gain valuable experience piloting your ship, but you’ll also earn valuable rewards such as isk, modules, and ship hulls.

These rewards will help you get started in your life in New Eden and set you up for success in the game. So don’t skip out on any of the story arcs – they are an essential part of your journey as a capsuleer in Eve Online and make Eve Online worth playing in 2023.

See you in New Eden!

  1. Eve is a game where it is a club, forget trying to explore or build anything as the other players those that are Ganker with tear you down,.
First off you get nice shines and then build up to get big shines and then from nowhere you get what is called ganked, a bunch of players who could never survive in low sec areas actively hunt players in Hi sec areas, Not to worry CCP will gladly take your money and you will again start to build and then boom you will loose 500 million ISK in a few seconds, then you will pay more actual money for the privilege of loosing everything thing again.
Cost benefit is less than zero, your subscription of 20 bucks a month is 140 dollar a year and for that you will loose everything and pay more money to get it all back.

    1. There’s a skill set that you can’t character train or buy with PLEX. It’s called situational awareness. When a player learns what to look out for and is present, not AFK mining or ratting, it’s pretty easy to avoid a gank. However, don’t take my word for it. There’s plenty of people who manage just fine and enjoy the game.
